Overview

In the realm of Tentacles Thrive, you will be discovering new tentacle species, stealing Lilith’s heart, mating to create new species, managing and reviving the Humana race, or conquering the world through strategic battles.
It is an SLG game with a love sim element and real-time battles.
Please be aware that this is a very short prototype, things end after you click the peak.​

Explore is completely revamped. It’s now a roguelite gameplay mode consisting of a series of good/bad events that offer obstacles or tools. Bonding now requires TM (Thrive Marks), which must be earned through gameplay. (Bonding outside of the Secret Garden is not implemented yet)
• A small amount of new content has been added: Thrive Desires, skills, and some events are now in. Items and crafting are not implemented yet.
• Ul elements and feedback animations are not fully optimized/polished yet. • The core structure and most mechanics are in place, so you shouldn’t get stuck. However, the experience is still incomplete. I’d honestly recommend waiting for the next version, as I suspect we’ll need at least one more update to implement the remaining mechanics and enough content to give a proper feel of the game.

• Explore with a monster to gather resources, skins, and maybe new allies.
• Keep morale up during the adventure by balancing battle strength, Lilith’s state, the monster’s status, and resources.
• Various bug fixes
• Morale stat and loss mechanics (during exploration)
• Improved exploration mechanics, where edge hexagons offer options to travel to nearby territories
• Initial Thrive Desires to earn extra Thrive Marks (for unlocking content) (see attached pictures)

• Adjusted bonding unlock system, which now requires varying amounts of Thrive Marks (TM)

Main Changes:

• Removed the previous Slay the Spire node map and its related mechanics
• Implemented all-new animated map backgrounds with terrains for each tiny hexagon
• Introduced the new Explore framework for future exploration events (content not yet included)

I won’t be releasing the previous version (Beta v0.4) to the public, as it might confuse players who don’t follow our updates closely.
