“KATE” is a visual novel where you can enjoy an intense story full of romance, sex, difficult choices and incredible twists of fate. Ahead are new friends, opportunities, and of course, the question: can our heroine stay herself or will the big city change her?

Season 3 – v0.1.3
The first version of Season 3 is ready and available to download. This build contains roughly one tenth of the planned content. It focuses on the main route only. The Paul and Kira branches will arrive later. Some features did not make it into this release, but they will be added in future updates. I am also looking for a UI designer to help refresh the interface.
Save transfer from Season 2
To carry your choices into Season 3, download the latest build of Season 2 on the same device, load your last save, and play to the end. Ren’Py will store your variables locally and Season 3 will read them when you start a new game. There are not many dependencies yet, so players without a transfer should still have a correct experience.
Quest system changes
The quest module was rewritten from scratch because the old one caused translation issues. Minor problems may remain. I will fix them during the week.
Audio and UI
I will add sounds and music during the week. Some interface tweaks may also appear.
Cafe minigame
Right now it is an introduction to the mechanics. I will expand the content and functionality in the next update.
Known issue
Sometimes quests in the journal can “stick” and do not switch. A temporary workaround is to press the Map button. A proper fix is in progress.

Fixes
– Fixed bugs with incorrect day skipping.
– Many players mistook the time skip on day 56 as a bug. This is actually part of the storyline. It will now display a message that time has passed at this point.
– If any days are skipped, it means you are going down a different line and events that could have happened to the heroine are left out.

Hello everyone!!!
After the new update came out, a bunch of bugs and errors surfaced. I’ve already fixed everything (at least I think so), but maybe something else was left unnoticed. I remind you that I’m testing alone, and sometimes I may miss details. If you run into problems, please message me on Discord – any help is greatly appreciated.

What’s changed:

• Content with Liam has been temporarily removed

His story has been put on pause due to possible risks of getting banned on the platform. But don’t worry – the script has been ready for a long time, and I will definitely return to it after the main story is finished. Alas, now I have to take into account the rules of the platforms.

• Fresh Story” is now with us

We decided to keep this name for the game to avoid confusion across platforms. You will still be able to enjoy Kate’s adventures, and the ability to choose your own name for the main character has been added.

• Old saves will no longer work

You will need to start a new play through to start the game correctly. This is due to changes in the project build.

• Solving cache problems

If the game gives errors related to the `****.rpyc` file, perform the following steps:

– Delete the contents of the folder:

`Users/NameUser/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/FreshStory2`.

(as well as all other folders associated with the game).

– Remove the `cache` folder from the project directory at the path:

`game/cache/`.

– Restart the game so that it creates new caches.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your support. I’m trying to fix bugs as quickly as possible, and I’m already preparing new content for the February update.
