Naruto can no longer pay the rent, as he has a very large debt for not paying previous months and is going to be evicted.
Tsunade owes Naruto money, but she lost it at the casino, so seeing herself out of options, Tsunade invites him to live with her until he can pay his rent again.

Tsunade, being a very disorganized person, sees an opportunity to exploit Naruto, as she uses him for everyday tasks, trying to squeeze every last drop out of him for her own benefit… and she’s not the only one in the village who will do it.​

v0.45

“Damsel in Debt” (Tsunade), significantly progresses the main story of the game, necessarily including Naruto’s relation with Tsunade.
This quest is unlocked upon completing the previous main storyline quest, “Emergency Call”.
Introduces 2 new minigames and several new maps.
“Ino the Medic” (Ino, Sakura), progresses Naruto’s relations with Ino and Sakura.
This quest is unlocked upon completing the most recent Ino quest, “A Close Call”.
Introduces 1 new minigame and several new maps.
For this update, I wanted to try something different with the scenes. I experimented with several new animation techniques and presentation styles, and I’m very happy with the results. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
Some of the less important illustrations included in this update are still unfinished. We will continue updating and polishing them over time, as it would have been impossible to complete everything and release the update on schedule otherwise.

This update includes a total of:
84 new illustrations for the new events
6 new animations (15 frames, 7 frames, 5 frames, 5 frames, 12 frames and 10 frames, a total of 54 draws for all the animations)
4 new maps
1 new enemy
3 new mini-games

From version 0.44 to 0.45, there are a TON of new changes to improve player experience, including, but not limited to:

• Introduction of the Computer Mode, a central hub for cheats, gallery, tutorial, and more. This can be accessed inside of Naruto’s room.
• Introduction of the Visual Novel dialogue system, beginning with Naruto and Tsunade’s dialogue. Pending player feedback, we may fully transition to this style of dialogue for the whole game and create character sprites for everyone.
• Every animation in the game has been updated to play smoother, and most of them also now have sound!
• Text size in the game has been increased, especially for android players. We haven’t come across a perfect, universal solution yet, but we are constantly evolving the game UI.
• Other various improvements to the UI, including android touch-based buttons for hiding images and opening/closing the menu.
• A new savefile migration system, which should enable players to safely re-use previous version save files in future deployments. Manually managing event unlocks has been tricky to program, but we are confident in this solution going forward.

A message to android players regarding poor performance
We understand that the game tends to run in low FPS on certain android devices, particularly those with lower-end GPUs (e.g. Xiaomi/Redmi devices, especially older ones). For many of you affected, it can be frustrating to play the game in certain areas, especially in battles, where the graphics processing dramatically increases.
In the game’s previous iterations with RPG Maker MV (before version 0.43/0.44), this was less of an issue due to engine architectural compatibility with the aforementioned android devices. Unfortunately, in addition to our current RPG Maker MZ engine being less android-friendly, the current APK build process involves the introduction of at least one additional game wrapper that further complicates the problem.
We have been rigorously investigating this issue since the beginning of the year, and continue to test various solutions with limited success. In the meantime, we have introduced a few temporary workarounds for affected players, such as the ability to skip battles (can be toggled in options). Thank you for your patience while we work on this.

v0.44 HotFix

• Android versions now have a touch UI enabled by default that allows purchasing shop items. The touch UI buttons can be disabled (not recommended for android players) in options>ui.
• The map item now works properly
• We’ve seen reports of games stuck on black screens or images while allowing you to open the menu. Now you can use the new option in your options>general>’fix stuck image’ to undo those bugs. Still, be sure to report these to our bugs section on discord so we can patch the events (tell us exactly where the bug occurs and whether it is a regular event or a gallery event).
• Minor improvement to dialogue across some scenes as well as audio in samui animation

Story Content

• New quest: Movies are the Way. [images] This new quest stars Tsunade and is unlocked upon completing its prequel quest, Aphrodisiac is the Way.
  • Supporter Edition players receive 2 bonus images during the main scene.
• New quest: Yoga Girls. [images + animation(s)] This new quest stars Shizune (primary) and Tsunade (secondary) and is unlocked upon completing its prequel quest, Learning Yoga.
  • Supporter Edition players receive 1 bonus animation (This event has 2 animations on it) and 2 bonus images during the main scene.
• Continuation of Shizune’s quest: A Bathing Partner. [images] This continued quest stars Shizune and requires the player to have: Shizune living at home, unlocked the lockpicking ability, and NINJUTSU level 4 (this version’s maximum level).
• New game mode:Tower Mode. [animation] This new game mode will eventually facilitate many series of enemy/boss stages. For every series, there is at least one enemy stage and exactly one boss stage. Completing a series by defeating its boss stage will typically earn you an animation with the boss character. The Tower Mode is accessed via the academy’s Dojo room (in the main lobby on your left, across Iruka’s room).
  • For v0.43, there is one series available, and it features 2 enemy stages and 1 boss stage, Samui.
• New special gallery: This gallery will be exclusive to the Support Edition and will include 3 extra images, added at the request of those who subscribed to the Hokage tier. It will be available in the same place as the regular gallery.

Other

• General & Quality-of-life (QoL) improvements: There are many general/QoL improvements from our recent (and incredibly tedious) engine upgrade to RPG Maker MZ, including but not limited to:
  • Improved menus & submenus, especially the ninja path (quest log) and status submenus which are significantly upgraded. Please take a look at these menus as they are the most important in the game.
  • Massive improvement to the quest tracker, which now accurately tracks quest progress across all quests and updates appropriately.
  • An updated Tutorial, accessed in Naruto’s room, which allows you to learn more about the most important basics of the game.
  • A better battle system, as well as big improvements to its balance. Through natural story progression, allocating ability points to increase one’s stats, and wearing equipment, even a very casual player should have little difficulty defeating major game bosses.
  • A superior animation system that is much lighter computationally.
  • Helpful progress alerts/notifications during gameplay.
  • Supporter Edition players receive the fast travel feature, accessed in the main menu, enabling them to teleport to key locations.
  • Supporter Edition players receive 4 bonus cheatsaccessed via the ‘cheats’ menu on the wall outside of Naruto’s room (in the hallway):
    • Unlocking the ‘Rinnegan’ in the secret shop, an item that superboosts your character’s stats, making fights effortless
    • Ability to speed up character walking speed
    • Ability to freely level up your character
    • Ability to fully unlock the gallery (scenes/animations)
  • Supporter Edition players also receive access to the ‘Supporter Gallery’, a special gallery that will display specially commissioned images by subs of the Patreon’s ‘Hokage’ Tier.
  • Supporter Edition players also remove all references to a ‘Supporter Edition’ from their game (e.g. the “Support” buttons on menus and various disclaimers across the game near bonus content sites).

Known problems that we gonna fix ASAP:

• Sprites for the shovel doesnt work properly
• Treasure map doesnt display properly (still playable)
• Samui ultimate animation doesnt display correctly

The update includes four events with content and an animation:

A. Second part of the washing machine event (animation)
B. A new nighttime event with Tsunade in her room
C. A rework of the Tsunade event in the kitchen (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
D. A new event every time you wake up in the morning
A total of: 72 new images and a 28-frame animation

2- The washing machine bug has been fixed, you can download it from the same link! (It should be called FIX 3 at the end of the name). This mission has a particular issue, which I will discuss in point 3 below
3- The ninja path has already been updated, but there is one particular issue: You have to do the washing machine mission again, as this will unlock the second part of the event, which has the new content from this update. To do this, I have decided to lower the requirements from Mischievous 2 to 1, so that it is not so cumbersome.
4- The gallery has already been updated, so now you can see the new events there as well.
5- We also apologize to Android users. We are working to bring the port as soon as possible. We are experiencing some issues, but we will resolve them soon!
