Needs an AI tag.
The art style has a hand drawn/cell shader look to it, but when playing the game you can see that the AI was struggling with certain images and animations. The characters occasionally deform and appear surreal, which is a telltale sign that the AI is trying, but failing, to approximate what the scene SHOULD look like based on it’s training database. The result is eyes rolling into the back of people’s heads and misshapen body parts.
The music is also likely AI generated. It’s a simple 80’s synth vibe, but very generic.
Actually, I’d be willing to bet that the entire game is AI generated. The dialogue, images, animations, music, the whole nine yards. And if that’s the case then fine, but just be honest about it.
Getting tired of devs trying to rationalize this stuff with… “Well, I entered the text prompts that generated this, so I kind of did ‘create it’.”
Whilst an AI filter has certainly been used to go over the screenshot to give it it’s look I don’t see anything else that even slightly comes across as AI other than the music. Yes, I have no doubt the music is AI made too but I personally realy like it so I’m not too fussed. I could be wrong but I’ve seen AI writing and it certainly doesn’t look like this.
I’m talking crazy, the sex scenes are obviously AI generated too. What am I on? xD Anyways, I don’t think the text is AI and I think real models have a filter put over them but I’m a dumbass so I really don’t know.
I actually really enjoyed this game but it seems to be a labour of love more than anything else. Over two years in development and this is all we have so I wouldn’t count on this game being finished anytime soon if at all.
