Your summer is ruined. Grounded, broke, and with a forced part-time job looming over you, a desperate search for an easy way out leads you somewhere… unnatural. A strange idol appears in your room, and with it, a voice offering power and control.
Hey everyone, this is my very first game dev project.
I wanted to try my hand at a “somewhat” bad-guy-oriented demon corruption game. MC diving into temptation and power plays is the meat of the game, but I also wanted something like where certain side characters (like family or rivals) can steal the demon’s favor right out from under you, forcing you to let things play out or try to win it back. Atleast that’s the general direction I have, I’ll have to figure out the methods later on.
I’ve been cooking this up in my spare time between coursework, so updates might take a bit. But I figured I’d drop this POC now to test the waters.
All feedback is super welcome—hit me with your takes on pacing, mechanics, writing, and whatever else.
