Lisa: Silence in the Rain is a long-form, story driven RPG about ordinary life colliding with irreversible consequence.

You play as Lisa, a young woman finishing her final year of college in a city quietly fraying at the edges. What begins as a grounded, slice of life experience with part-time work, friendships and daily routine slowly unravels after a chance encounter pulls her into the orbit of a powerful criminal family. From that moment on, survival is no longer about escape, but about judgment.

This is a slow and methodical narrative shaped by imperfect people making impossible choices. Trust is rarely clean. Loyalty is often conditional. Intentions overlap, fracture, and contradict one another and betrayal is sometimes a matter of perspective, not something born of malice.

Motivations in Lisa: Silence in the Rain are rarely framed as “right” or “wrong.” Information is incomplete. Motives are obscured. Small decisions echo forward, sometimes revealing their true cost only hours or acts later. The story is deliberately paced, allowing characters, relationships, and consequences to settle before their full weight becomes clear.

Conversation matters. Silence matters.

While the game contains explicit sexual content, Lisa: Silence in the Rain is not a power fantasy or a traditional dating sim. Intimacy and vulnerability are treated as narrative elements; sources of tension, connection, and risk.

This is a story that unfolds patiently. It does not rush to resolution, and it does not offer clean victories. It asks the player to live with their decisions and the people those decisions affect long after the rain has stopped.

When you load in, press the Tab key on your keyboard to access the new Mini Archive. Use the archive if you’re ever lost or wondering what’s left in the patch. Every node in the Archive is interactable and will display location / requirements for each mini event.
Everything new can be found in that UI element. This will be updated for all new mini series added to the game so get used to it ^_^

Assuming that you have 25 or higher Deviancy, you can safely ignore the Deviancy requirements in choices and in the Mini Archive as they’ve been disabled until more minis are added to the game and higher Deviancy levels are achievable.
If you’re interested in seeing all of the content, 16 Exhibitionism is also required.
I doubled back on my earlier idea of showing the Exhibitionism requirements somewhere and instead decided to leave it as an added bonus for players who have progressed with the Open Exhibitionist website because everything in this patch is repeatable so you can’t actually miss any content permanently.

As it stands, 3.4.0 is centered around Simon (Copy Guy) and the expanding sequences involving him.
I had originally hoped to include the Kisses for Kittens booth in this launch as well, but rather than delay the completed material, I decided to release the Copy Guy content now before I have to step away for several days due to an unavoidable family matter.

The good news is that the kissing booth is not being pushed into some distant future patch. It is already a primary focus of the next release and will follow very soon.

The Copy Guy series can begin as soon as Lisa joins the council and it’s a full character arc from first meet to being genuinely good friends (with benefits??) by the end. There’s a ton of new events and a ton of room for expansion in the future which is exciting for me and I hope it will be for you too.

This is the closest that any patch has been to development taking longer in RPGM than it did in Daz3D. I finished all CGs, including over a hundred not even included here at the end of May and since then I’ve been working almost exclusively in RPGM which is absolutely insane but I really wanted this series to feel good. To bind the RPGM world with the CG world as seamlessly as I could because the biggest gripe that I have with my own game is that it doesn’t utilize RPGM nearly enough and mini events are the perfect way to marry the two together.

Other additions:
New Update Rate plugin.
This was an attempt to replicate the “ctrl” function when using MTool. When ctrl is held, the game will now double in speed. This includes during exploration, not just during events.
Ctrl will also skip text so the button is a lot closer in functionality to that which you find in Ren’Py. This plugin also stacks with MV’s action key speedup during events so skipping through content or exploring the game world should be significantly faster than it was before. Alongside the new text draw speed in the previous patch, replaying old content or skipping through sections of the Recollection Room that you aren’t interested in should be much more tolerable.
There is no option in game to re-map the keybind currently but that’ll likely be added later on.

Obviously the Mod Shop scene is finished but there are a few backend changes that might help with users that have been crashing. I think I might’ve also solved my own issues with the engine crashing (which was how I lost the DS Sharing scene way back at the start of last year) so that’s all good news. Of course let me know if you’re still having problems with the game stalling though, I’m just hopeful that we might one day have a functional game for everyone ^_^

There will be more patches in the coming weeks with the leftover content and also completed versions of content already available in this patch but they’ll just be going straight to public and once that’s all done I can finally wash my hands of one of the most stressful periods of my bloody life lol!
The next patch will include the “unlock all” option in the Recollection Room. It’s a boring, snooze-fest of a task that I’ve put off for a long time now so I’m just gonna put my head down n’ do it ^_^ (I can hear that one guy out there pumping his fist reading this xD)

FINALLY! It’s over! I literally just saw a few CGs that could’ve done with being updated in the Rubbin’s events but I’m not recompressing everything again tonight lol ^_^

I’ve been a bit worried about re-uploading the game because it’s not like I can assume that releasing in tiers will filter out any glaring bugs because there’s no further content and it’s unlikely that returning players will be starting new games anytime soon so I’ve really tried to be as thorough as I possibly can in as little time possible but as always if you find something iffy in there please let me know asap <3 I think the most likely errors that could still be floating around in there are references to Paul.

Playing through the first hours of the game was tough. Like it was really tough to look at some of it lol! The introductory section of the game was inundated with these predatory grins and really amateur renders but I’m sure you all know this already ^_^ It did take quite some hours to play through the entire thing, re-render some really bizarre images and adjust some of the dialogue to be less “rigid” though a lot more work needs done at some point but I am satisfied for now. I think some of the dialogue was really, really awful for the first portion of the game and I imagine that’s probably because 1: I wrote it before I had a good concept of who each character actually was, so they all interacted like NPCs to some degree which I really don’t like and 2: because I was a much more timid writer back then but it’s been briefly adjusted for the time being though I will revisit it again before the final version of the game.

A lot of the re-rendered scenes are found in the first section of the game like when Lisa first arrives at the house and when meeting Gina at the coffee shop. These didn’t take too long at all as I spent about 1-2 minutes each fixing settings, adjusting lights, rectifying facial expressions, quickly simulating the clothing / hair and finally applying a denoiser then setting it to render whilst I continued with the playthrough. Other scenes are crying out for a remake or at least touching up like Marcus’ early content, Rubbin’s content, Theo’s first jobs, Shopping with Sharon, Danny Nights 1&2 and Swim Trip events but most of these scenes require a full overhaul of the sets or at least the lighting used so that’ll be pushed back until much later. Other glaring issues are CGs with a “sweat” / “wet” shells applied – these tend to look really poor unless under very specific lights so I’d like to address those at a further date too. Noteable scenes with these messy looking shells are Byron Visit & Theo’s Night events. I’ve at least learned how to better apply these for future scenes
